Hi, I’m Sevyn Michaela-Rose Waters. I’m a writer who’s always been a little obsessed with quiet details—the kinds of things you only notice when you slow down and really look.

I grew up loving mysteries, old houses, and the kind of stories where discovery felt like stepping into a hidden world. I have a background in creative and journalistic writing, and earned my master’s degree from the University of Edinburgh—but honestly, most of what I know about storytelling comes from paying attention. The way a shadow falls across a room or a smile falters at just the wrong moment. Those are the kinds of details I live for.

I write the stories I wished I'd had more of growing up: ones where curiosity is a strength, where observation is a superpower, and where girls can keep their sense of childish wonder—stomping through mud, chasing mysteries, and letting the world stay big and wild.
